For all you beach lovers out near Jones Beach or those who don’t mind the drive, Tobay Beach in Massapequa might just be the perfect spot for you and your kiddos. See here for parking rates. With a splash park, sanded playground, restaurants, and lounge areas just steps away from the beach, you can’t go wrong. It is a relatively calm beach with clean sand, bathrooms, and wash areas. Right outside of the parking areas are workout stations and scenic bike paths that are separated by the brush from traffic.
I know you know this, but a reminder never hurt…Always remember to keep a close eye on your children at all times this summer while near beaches and pools. Accidents happen in the blink of an eye. And SUNSCREEN! Protecting your skin is always a must!
